7 INCH CINEMA
with live guests BLACK GALAXY +
ZX SPECTRUM ORCHESTRA
ICA theatre, Monday 8th January at 8pm
£12 / £10 concessions
This special Halloween Festival outing includes a mixtape medley of shorts, animation and internet oddities. Special guests in the theatre are Black Galaxy (featuring Simon Mabbutt and Nicholas Bullen, formerly of Napalm Death and Scorn) who will be accompanying two indelible and still jaw-droppingly fresh experimental films - Man Ray’s L’Etoile de Mer (1928) and Watson & Webber’s Lot in Sodom (1933). Then afterwards in the bar you can find assorted DJs and the second climax of the evening courtesy of ZX Spectrum Orchestra, two men named Clive who will rearrange your brain/booty with carefully hand-coded electropop and animations.
By way of a warm-up for the second Flatpack Festival, we're playing a couple of dates out and about...
