Back in the saddle after a 3-month sabbatical, 7 inch cinema will be picking up where it left off with a bounteous selection of short films from near and far, plus lovingly prepared audio-visual distractions to fill the gaps. Pick of the local stuff includes a split-screen jazz meltdown from PirateHairWaves and a terrific 3-minute animation by Richard Coldicott. After retiring his Mike in Mono alter ego with some style at Supersonic, Mike Johnston will be putting on his ZX Spectrum Orchestra hat to present a live feed animation called "Look and Listen" along with Brian Duffy's video for the Spectrum's new single "Dollar Power". To round things off, filmficciones and Step Off will be reworking Style Wars and Dark Days to create a subway pile-up of biblical proportions.
