We appreciate that traditional 7inch pub gigs are becoming annual rarities rather than regular treats, but we always return to the Hare and Hounds with a spring in our step.

As well as a roundup of some of the wonders in store at this year's Flatpack, tonight's event will feature a special screening of Wurld. This mulchy, organic and slightly Postgate-ish animation was filmed (and scored) by Canadian duo Elfin Saddle in their backyard, and gives you a potted history of civilisation in a little under half an hour. Musical interludes will come courtesy of Colour, and we'll also have a nice big pile of Flatpack brochures.
