Another Bristol expedition... Accompanying us down the M5 this time will be Pram, whose new Domino album The Moving Frontier has been applauded in all sorts of places as their best in years. As well as playing an instrumental set of restless, intricate melodies with live visuals by filmficciones, the band will have a hand in choosing some influential animations as part of tonight’s film programme. There’s also twisted cassette-folk from Romanhead (Cleaner Records), and a couple of magic lantern slide shows from Bristol University’s theatre collection. Out in the bar music for psychedelic ears will be provided by DJs from Hot on the Heels of Love and Mr Hopkinson.
