Dates: 19 & 20 July 2008, 12-4pm
Venue: Compton Verney
Price: Free with gallery entry (£7/£5)
A rolling programme of shorts and animation on a knitting and fabric theme, inspired by Compton Verney's new exhibition 'The Fabric of Myth.' As with last summer's hugely popular Shadowfilm weekend, we'll be turning the Adam Room into a temporary film cafe where you can watch shorts, eat cake and even have a go at knitting. (Free needles and wool courtesy of Coats, and expert tuition for beginners courtesy of Gloria.) Some people have asked us if we were able to find any knitting-relating films, but the problem has actually been fitting them all in. We have some corkers for you, including...
KNIT YOUR OWN KARMA

Award-winning comedy about a magic tank-top.

TETKE PLETKE (aka: Knitting Pretty)
