Anne Darracott
Enjoys a rollercoaster ride throughout the two series of Gangsters, from gangster’s moll to supportive hausfrau and secretary via heroin addict and drug-baron. In series 1 she lives on a barge near Gas St Basin where she is being continually visited by rude men, then in series 2 she and Kline open the Nirvana restaurant.

Cassidy seems to have packed in acting soon after Gangsters. There were various other roles in mid-70s cop dramas (The Sweeney, Z-Cars, Van der Valk) but after 1978 very little. Where is she now? Were these really her last words?: “That’s got to be the end. Get these bums a drink.”
